Returns Policy

Hobby Habit is not required to provide a refund if you change your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully.

If you change your mind about the products you have purchased from us online or instore, a store credit or exchange will be issued, (minus the original shipping cost if purchased online).

Hobby Habit will happily give you a store credit or exchange within 30 days of purchase, provided you have proof of purchase and the product:

• is not an items marked as clearance, reduced to clear “seconds”, “samples” or “known faulty” at the time of purchase

• is still in its original and saleable condition and packaging (unused with original tags/labels attached), with all accessories included; and

• has not been used

Hobby Habit does not cover the shipping cost for returning an item.

For items that are returned via post or courier- Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and a store credit issued (if all conditions of the return are met)

You may be asked to provide personal details (eg. a phone number and email address) for returns or exchanges. These details will be used for the purpose of processing the return and in accordance with Hobby Habit’s Privacy Policy.

 

Our Change of Mind Policy is in addition to any rights you may have under a manufacturer's warranty or statute.

 

Consumer Guarantees and Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law

This policy does not replace or exclude any rights that apply to you under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

If you believe that your purchase fails to meet one or more of the consumer guarantees, then you may be entitled to a remedy.

If there is a major failure, you may seek a refund or replacement (subject to availability), or you may keep the product and seek compensation for any drop in the value. If there is a minor failure, we may repair the item (or, in our discretion, we may replace the item or refund you) within a reasonable time.

Please contact the Hobby Habit store that you made the purchase from if you believe that the goods you have purchased fail to meet a consumer guarantee, or if you wish to discuss your goods. In some cases, we may have to arrange an inspection or consult with the manufacturer of the relevant goods before determining the remedy that you are entitled to.
