The Douglas DC3 first flew in 1935, followed by the military C47 in late 1941, just after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. During WWII, the C47 transported thousands of troops and supplies. Following WWII, the C47 functioned as a supply plane for the Berlin Airlift and embarked on missions in the Arctic Circle. During the Vietnam War, C47s were used as gunships, earning the nickname Puff the Magic Dragon. This model authentically recreates the C-47 with five finishing options in 1/144 scale. The fully assembled model is 13.7cm long and 3.9cm tall.
