Plank bender pincers for folding wooden strips using the technique of making incisions on the inside face of timber so that the removed space allows the timber to curve inwards. The more incisions, the tighter the bend. Controlling this curvature of the timber is a skill you will quickly become proficient with using this tool.

Tip: practice using this tool on leftover slats, as excessive pressure will cut the slat rather than forming a bend. It is also recommended to use the plank bender after having suitably moistened the slats.
