The Imagination Project by Authentic Collectables is an idea born out of creativity and a desire to produce a range of cool cars with no limits.

‘What if’ is the main question that drives this project. What if a designer had absolutely free range to create a racing livery without any restrictions? What if a driver could decide how their car would look? What kind of art cars could artists create on race or road cars? What if we combined retro and modern racing styles?

The questions, ideas and outcomes created by this project are limited only by our collective imaginations. In fact, the only limits that are placed on the models created in this range is the limited edition number.

Driven by our own creative division and also working with other designers, artists, brands, drivers and more - the Imagination Project is a collection of interesting, wild and fun limited edition models for motorsport, car and art & design collectors.

Our first edition in this range is this incredible Nissan Bluebird Turbo designed by Tristan Groves.

Featuring a wild custom livery which takes colour cues and design inspiration from the iconic 1984 Bathurst 1000 Pole Position Bluebird, with some light-hearted Easter eggs thrown in - including the car number which is a reference for those in the know. It's a real head turner and is the perfect first edition in this new range. It's fun, different and really looks awesome on display.

This 1:18 scale model has been produced in sealed body resin, measuring 250mm long, 100mm wide, 75mm high (excluding the aerial) in an exclusive limited edition of 144 and will come with an individually numbered and signed Certificate of Authenticity.

About The Designer:

Tristan Groves is a designer / illustrator widely regarded for his bold and detailed vector illustrations and motorsport design work. He’s the driving force behind the Authentic Collectables Creative Division and has collaborated with, and produced work for, numerous teams and brands in the Australian motorsport industry.
