The MS-05B Zaku I Black Tri-Stars is one of the first High Grade kits constructed with double jointed elbows, allowing the model to hold either of its weapons convincingly with both hands. The mono-eye can move left and right via a switch underneath the head unit. The head rotates on a single ball joint neck. The torso tilts frontward. Shoulder joints tilt forward. The arms swing on peg and socket joints, raise horizontally, and feature independent upper arm rotation. The waist rotates a full 360 degrees. Front and side skirt armours pivot slightly to avoid interference with leg articulation. The upper thighs swivel on ball and socket joints, knee joints bend up to 90 degrees, and ankle joints tilt sideways in a limited manner and pivot frontward. The Bazooka and Heat Hawk can both be stored on the mobile suit while not in use, and all three Black Tri-Stars variants can be recreated using the included marking sheet.
