Bandai has incorporated the impressive plamo technology found in the Master Grade (MG) series into the compact frame of an SD Gundam. The initial addition to the premium SD brand "MGSD" is the Freedom Gundam, which boasts unparalleled mobility, features, and intricacy, making it the most advanced SD model to date.

The MGSD Freedom Gundam reaches a height of about 115mm once assembled, and its internal frame is fitted with numerous movable gimmicks to enable seamless articulation.

The primary camera and twin eyes feature a double-layered structure with transparent components.

Bandai utilizes its latest "Real Metallic Gloss Injection" technology on multiple components to create a metallic appearance.

The external armour’s moulding colour comprises a 2-tone colour composition, which enhances its level of precision.

The head can be moved along three axes, and the internal structure enables various poses, such as chin pulling and face protrusion. Additionally, the torso has several movable axes that facilitate left/right swinging and forward/backward tilting, providing a broad range of motion.

The hip joints are swingable, significantly expanding the legs' motion range. A swing mechanism at the shoulder joints enhances the arms' motion range. Moreover, the forearms are equipped with an extension gimmick that allows for more profound bending of the arms.

When the legs are bent, the knee armour and vernier located behind the knees interlock to ensure a complete range of motion. Furthermore, despite being an SD model, the movable toes permit a natural kneeling position.
