The SAS 1/4-Ton 4x4 Patrol Car, also known as the "Jeep," was a modified military vehicle used by the British Special Air Service (SAS) during World War II.

Based on the American Willys MB or Ford GPW, these vehicles were extensively adapted for desert warfare, particularly in the North African Campaign.

Modifications typically included the removal of the windshield, addition of extra fuel and water canisters, mounting of multiple machine guns, and specialised equipment for long range reconnaissance missions.

Renowned for their ruggedness, versatility, and ability to traverse harsh terrains, these patrol cars were instrumental in the SAS's hit and run tactics against Axis forces.
