A Lowrider is a type of customised car that started in East Los Angeles around the 1950's. Because it was economically difficult for some to buy new cars, used cars would be purchased for cheap then customised into the beautiful machines that soon became known as low riders. They were characterised by lowered car heights, and an installed hydraulic type adjustment system. The tyre or wheel also features a lower than standard diameter while the car body appeared large in contrast.
This kit from Hasegawa recreates the look that was popular around the 1960's. It features flame decals to really make your Lowrider shine.
