The "Typhoon" fighter was a single-seat heavy fighter developed by the United Kingdom during World War II to replace the "Hurricane". The Royal Air Force issued a development task to the factory in 1938. In January 1940, the prototype successfully flew for the first time. And in 1941 It was officially put into production in May. In September of the same year, it entered service with the 56th Fighter Squadron of the Royal Air Force. It formed combat effectiveness in May of the following year and completed its first combat mission.
