Completely new mould! The M46 Patton Medium Tank is a tank developed starting in 1946 to update the M26 Pershing. In order to eliminate the lack of climbing power of the M26, a prototype equipped with a higher-output Continental AV-1790-3 engine and an M3A1 gun equipped with a newly designed smoke eliminator and muzzle brake was developed. It was given the name "M46 Patton" in 1949, after the legendary WWII general George Patton, because the test results were satisfactory. This vehicle can be said to be the originator of the Patton series, composed of M47, M48 and M60, which was the main battle tank of the U.S. military until the M1 Abrams was developed.
This kit comes with T80E1 and T84E1 tracks of the link-and-length type (an assembly jig is included). The main hatch can open and close, and it comes with decals for 9 versions and 2 shields (with and without cover). Figures are not included.
