WWII Wehrmacht Infantry
The M36 uniform was the staple of Wehrmacht infantry in WWII, in field grey fabric with green collar. However, as the war continued and simpler designs were required, other uniforms became an increasingly common sight. Likewise, the style of boots was also to evolve. Soldiers carried such equipment as pouches, gas mask case, canteen, shovel and rounds; infantry were given the Kar98k rifle or an MG34/MG42 machine gun, and NCOs the MP40 submachine gun. NCOs and machine gunners also carried a pistol.
