This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
The Taszkient (Tashkent) Destroyer was laid down on January 11, 1935 and entered service in the Soviet Union in 1940. The Taszkient's design was avant-garde at the time, being one of the few large ships during World War II with a speed that could exceed 40 knots.
During World War II, her main task was to transport people and goods, and she became quite legendary in Sevastopol, with even the Germans knowing her name. On her return voyage to Novorossiysk, she was finally hit by Axis bombers, and sunk a few days later during an air strike. Although she was refloated in 1944, she was eventually scrapped after the war.
When completed, this kit will measure about 399.1mm long. It includes over 210 pieces.
